StillThis week was the 3rd week of making the website. It seemed that I didn't progress yet. I hardly do it on my computer inside the class. We only have 30 minutes everyday! Even we learn on how to make a website during the class. That allotted time was not enough to finish learning or encoding the website.

Just ChillIt was already the 2nd week of making the website. Because of this, my classmates asked Sir Peralta for extension of the website. I didn't yet start and make plans for it. I was going with flow of the class. I didn't have any motivation or cause for me to start it to right away. This was what I do for the whole week. How I hated myself for my attitude towards this kind of situation.
A Big OneSir Peralta already sent the format of the 2nd hands-on quiz we were going to perform as the week started. Some of my classmates started encoding it after it was sent to our gmail accounts. The code we had prepared was a quite different from the hands-on quiz! I didn't still get its format, even though we could make a some changes to it. I knew that it was my fault, and I wasn't really into it. As a result, I got nothing. Programming was not my forte nor my favorite at all, but I had to do something about it.
After the hands-on quiz, Sir introduced us a the final activity in CSS 2 which was making a website of both CSS and HTML. Sir Peralta also told us that JavaScript was not allowed in making of it. I didn't know how to do it because it looked like a real website like the one you see on the Internet today. That was my reaction when I saw the website which was made by a former Grade 10 SSP student. Another heavy task to complete! MixedWe had our 1st Quarter Exam in all of the subjects this week. It was a hectic one because we also had our other school works. Before of all this happened, Sir Peralta had sent us the spreadsheet containing our grades of our ICT blog. I almost had a grade of 92, but because of the 2 violations which were the late scoresheet and feedback, I'd got a final rating of 86. 6 points were deducted! Those 2 violations had big impact on my rating, so I'd make sure I'll submit it on time.
We also performed another pre-quiz (wherein the 3 types of stylesheets were used) in preparation for the upcoming second hands-on quiz next week. By the way, the 3 types of stylesheets (namely embedded, inline, external), absolute and relative positioning, the div tag, and the z-index were used in the 3 pre-quizzes we'd made. 3 class selectors, 3 <div> tags were used, and 1 external file were used in the 3rd pre-quiz. The cyan color, absolute positioning, 16-point font size (for the text inside), and z-index of 2 were some of the format used for the HTML document. |
